SUMMARY:
Maintains and repairs equipment to promote maximum uptime, operational efficiency, and long-term upkeep of equipment and machinery. Major responsibilities of this position include: Conveyor / automated systems, repairing, troubleshooting, maintain and repair electrical motors, automated sortation systems, and other mechanical and electrical systems. Duties require hands on support addressing mechanical and electrical repairs throughout the facility including ladder, work platform and limited mobility access. All work and activity are completed in compliance with safety protocols.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
o Hand, power, and other tools.
o Written (email, part lists, etc.) and verbal communication with associates and leadership
o Safety protocols: lockout, tag-out, safety harnesses
o Material handling systems and programmable controllers a plus
o Electronic controls as well as electric motors of various sizes.
o Automated sortation systems including: Air, pneumatic, controls
o Preventative maintenance procedures
o Effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management.
o Read and understand technical manuals.
o Diagnose and solve problems on malfunctioning equipment.
o Prioritize work orders and answer questions related to those projects.
o Reach upwards, downwards and sideways to work with small parts in equipment.
o Bend, crouch, twist, crawl as needed to access and repair equipment.
o Climb stairs and ladders to access equipment.
o Remain flexible, re-prioritize and respond to changing demands.
o Lift parts and tools weighing on average 25 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 45pounds.

Hourly Salary Rate: $20-$23 per hour: Offer placement within this range is dependent on a variety of factors, including prior relevant experience, skill set, and qualifications.
