Shift: Monday - Friday, 10pm -6am

Job Summary

Responsible for performing tasks that are necessary to maintaining inventory accuracy within the CooperVision Distribution Center. Close supervision required.

Essential Functions & Accountabilities

I. Performs inventory searches by utilizing the warehouse management system and RF functionality.

II. Organizes/Maintains picking locations to ensure product availability and proper FIFO requirements.

III. Performs product restocking and put-away tasks.

IV. Performs product retrieval for customer order shortages.

V. Responsible for product sorting in preparation for put-away.

VI. Performs product location checks to ensure location accuracy.

VII. Participates in monthly cycle counts.

General Job Requirements

1. Works scheduled holidays in order to maintain service levels for customers.

2. As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory Saturdays.

3. Works scheduled hours and is ready to work at scheduled start times, notifies Supervisor prior to absence or tardiness in accordance with company policy.

4. Immediately informs Coordinator/Supervisor/Manager of safety, sanitation, and equipment malfunctions and concerns regarding quality issues.

5. Exhibits good communication skills – verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language.

6. Adhered to Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • PC Skills
  • Forklift/ man-up experience preferred.

Experience:

  • Basic course work in mathematics, data processing and business or equivalent training and/or experience helpful. Ability to perform basic mathematics in order to perform physical inventory and cycle counting necessary. Experience in a receiving environment preferred.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
