Job Summary: The Finance Operation Process leader will drive establishing baseline processes, increasing efficiency and leading continuous improvement across the finance operations teams and develop appropriate performance indicators to convey fact-based success measurement. In this role, the Finance Operations Process leader will drive the injection of contemporary finance practices rooted in automation, data modeling and integrated business planning and reporting. This position typically works under limited supervision and direction. Incumbents of this position regularly exercise discretionary and regular decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drives efficiency through adoption of a results-driven and non-bureaucratic mindset and also removes time-wasting tasks and activities
• Develop and implement process solutions to improve operational efficiency and communication
• Provide training programs on processes to ensure adoption across the teams
• Ensure effective internal audits of processes to confirm documentation is relevant, up to date, and adhered to across organization
• Monitor and measure the benefits of post process implementation to ensure product quality, efficiency, and improvement
• Champion, develop and implement a continuous process improvement and automation focus to expand scope of services provided by the Finance Operations team with clear and demonstrable measurements of efficiency, security, and cost benefits
• Well versed in contemporary finance practices including cloud-based solutions, automation, RPAs, data modeling, etc.
• Lead project teams as needed that will be responsible for process assessments, and process design and redesign
• Resolves complex problems and influences outcomes that align with business objectives
• Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement and innovation that values learning and a commitment to quality
• In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by their manager from time-to-time, as may be reasonably required of them.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Four-year college degree in Accounting or Finance with at least seven to ten years progressive finance and accounting experience required, preferably in a large organization. An MBA and CPA Certification are highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with general ledger, P&L and Balance Sheet. Ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues, customers, and suppliers. Ability to identify areas of under-performance and agree plans to rectify. Demonstrate experience of design and implementation of business process with a continuous improvement mindset. Must be initiative-taking, pragmatic, and able to work independently. Diligent and strong attention to detail. Strong influencing skills, able to problem solve and find effective and timely resolutions. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills with a willingness to share knowledge, coach and collaborate effectively with individuals and other departments. Strong organization and planning skills with the ability to multitask and ruthlessly prioritize. Financial experience in a manufacturing environment and service-based organization are highly desirable. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, prior experience of SAP preferred but not essential. Able to protect and handle confidential personnel information. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer required. Limited to travel including international.
