Scope:
- Accountable for planning and delivering Customer enhancements.
- Responsible for the planning and delivery of typically one single project of medium scope, or more than one small product or projects.
- Manages releases across core suite of products and accountable to make sure release gates are met and attain zero quality and security exception.
- Responsible for making technical stack decisions and upgrades.
- Accountable to maintain Green CI
- Collaboration with teams like Security, Quality, Cloud for all the release activities
- Responsible for ensuring performance tests are executed in a timely manner.
- Manages a team of enthusiastic associates, including recruiting and managing resources, as well as coaching and mentoring members of the team to progress on their career paths.
- Coordinates with key constituents outside of PD, including PMG, Cloud, Security, and release management teams.

What you’ll do:
- Oversees all performance management matters including formal performance reviews as well as frequent reviews, and scheduled one-on-ones with associates.
- Drive development best practices and process methodology.
- Manages the day-to-day team activities to ensure the team adheres to operational guidelines.
- Facilitates team associates in product/technology knowledge areas and triage techniques.
- Motivates and mentors - develops an environment where associates work well together and are empowered, challenged, and motivated.
- Lead decision-making and collaboration across a broad network of stakeholders
- Innovate and optimize engineering processes and standards, drive adoption throughout organization.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of products.
- Maintain and lead awareness of industry best practices and relevant technologies.
- Leads by example inspires team to excel, promotes teamwork and high morale.
What we are looking for:
- 10+ years relevant experience
- Java, MVC Architecture, J2EE, Struts, Portal Server, Web Development Experience
- Knowledge on Design Patterns
- Unix Knowledge desirable
- Strong database concepts
- Demonstrates good understanding of the product and its architecture
- Proficiency in spectrum of delivery methods (Agile > hybrid > waterfall > Devops > CI/CD)
- Leading innovation
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent preferred
- Experienced in delivering hybrid based products
- Experience with CI/CD, Security, PSR, code quality initiatives.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Involve the key players in identifying operating needs, issues, and solutions.
- Proactively identify program risks and come up mitigation plans for on scope and on time release of roadmap.
