ERM is looking for a motivated Hungarian speaking Consultant - Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) to join our team in Romania and help our clients in some or all of the following areas, for example, but not limited to:
- EHS due diligence audit and EHS compliance audits
- Environmental permitting,
- Sustainability advisory projects and ESG
- Contaminated sites investigations
- EIA projects and environmental baseline data collection

About the role
The main responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Managing or coordinating small or medium-sized projects or whole elements of larger multidisciplinary or global projects – as ERM works closely with some of the world’s largest organizations, we anticipate that this role will require close collaboration with our regional and global environmental and social performance teams.
- Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including proposals
- Understanding the interrelationships between ERM services and policies and how these are applied within the clients’ business model
- Establishing strong working relationships with clients through project delivery
- Making use of effective working relationships with business units and participating in global technical communities to ensure a strong network of resources
- Remaining up to date with external market and client industry trends
- Sharing expertise and knowledge within the business unit and/or global practice area
- Understanding how the work of the project team or practice community contributes to ERM’s success
About You:
- University degree/ Master of Science in Environmental Science, Geography, Engineering, Planning and Development or a related discipline;
- Experience in environmental impact assessment of major investment projects
- Fluency in Romanian, Hungarian and English. Advanced knowledge of other languages would be an advantage
- A Romanian residence for employment contracting purposes is a must
- Willingness to travel and perform work in the country and internationally (special focus on Hungary)
