As a Database Senior Analyst, you will be part of the team who will be responsible for the management and administration, engineering and architecture of our Core Database Systems and Infrastructure.

What You'll Bring:

• Linux Administration with Database Administration experience particularly Informix, Postgre, Db2 database, etc.
• Experience with Linux/Red Hat Operating Systems
• Knowledge in SQL scripting in Linux, Application support, etc.
• Ensure Database Availability, Capacity, and Performance Management. This involves using Infrastructure Monitoring using tools (Foglight, Splunk, etc.)
• Application level 2 support, and deployment / release management
• Stakeholder Management Experience, partnering with business stakeholders to deliver high quality service to our customers
• Establish and ensures partnership with Application teams to ensure high quality product is developed and released into production
• ITIL Experience; Service Level Management, Incident Handling and Resolution, and up to Problem Management, Change Management, Service Transition
• Security, Compliance and Risk Management of the Infrastructure and the teams' operations
• Support and Enable Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Capability of the Infrastructure (Server, Storage, and Virtualization)
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation of Infrastructure and Operations

We’d Love to See: (preferred skills)

• Bachelors Degree/ College graduate or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields
• Minimum of 5 years Database Administration Experience
• Minimum of 3 years Microsoft Windows and Linux/Unix Operating Systems Experience

Impact You'll Make:

• In the first 90 days – Work closely with the Technical leads and associates to help support BAU and KTLO (Keeping the Lights On) operations, support and implement Projects as well as work on Security related initiatives.
• Beyond 90 days – Effectively perform the function and work independently and lead the team, as well as be involved in the design, engineering, and architecture of the Infrastructure. Help work on Service Improvements and Innovation, including introduction of his/her own initiatives.
