Inventory Control Clerk

As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will assist in receiving, storage, breakdown and distribution of food and supplies for use within individual households. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving and storage of food and supplies from main distribution

Breakdown, repackaging and fulfilment of orders utilizing established systems and procedures

Delivery of food to households, support monitoring/maintenance of refrigerated storage areas

Must be able to follow HACCP for correct food handling and production

Cleaning and sanitation of the food service areas, includes dishwashing, sweeping and mopping and other utility tasks

Upholds policies and procedures to guarantee compliance with company expectations

Includes duties outside of facility, may be working in inclement weather, cold/wet or hot/humid conditions

Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, customers, administrators, and Managers

Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment and following correct procedures

Perform alternate duties as assigned

Adheres to SPHP's code of conduct

Minimum Requirements:

A positive attitude, compassion, willingness to learn

Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, lifting, bending, pushing/pulling up to 50-75 pounds

A valid NYS driver license

Ability to work independently on scheduled timeline

Ability to work in a face paced environment

Ability to follow instructions

Ability to read and write English on at a minimum 6th grade level
