Job Summary:

Trane in East & Central Europe is hiring Sales Engineer to join our industrial process-cooling segment. 

In this role you will be responsible for developing trusting customer relationships and maximizing account share and customer retention with building owner accounts

Sales Engineer (Industrial Process Cooling Solutions) 

Czech Republic and Slovakia

Responsibilities:

  • Provide knowledge and consultation in the form of developing sustainable industrial process cooling solutions for the customer’s problems, including financial and performance-based considerations. 
  • Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities.
  • Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying the requires, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process.
  • Develop and execute an account specific business plan to identify the long term, mutual support requirements required to facilitate a strong, profitable and successful partnership.
  • Assist customers in answering technical questions on and support relevant industry issues.
  • Effective partnership with Country Sales Leader Czech & Slovakia to develop the growth of MTA within the marketplace.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, business or equivalent from a four-year college or university preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • Nice to have knowledge about Industrial refrigeration/ Industrial process cooling solutions OR experience in selling products/ solutions for production lines.
  • Fluent Czech and good English level.
  • Willingness and ability to travel around Czech Republic and Slovakia (including frequent visits in Prague’s office)
  • Creativity to approach and develop sales plan from the scratch and build customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress sales environment and multitask.
