Role Summary

The Senior Manager, Financial Partnerships Marketing, MEA is a key member of the Loyalty & Partnerships EMEA Team. In partnership with leading financial institutions, this role is responsible for the management of new and existing Cobrand Credit Card portfolios and financial partnerships in Middle East. This includes the launch of new cobrand card products, acquisition & spend marketing campaigns and other loyalty initiatives across the MEA Cards business.

Core Work Activities

  • Leading the Strategy for Growth and Expansion of MEA Card portfolio.
  • Supporting new business development and leading the launch of new financial products.
  • Managing and growing existing Cobrand Card portfolios by formulating and deploying integrated marketing campaigns to drive New Accounts as well as retain existing customers.
  • Managing all aspects of marketing initiates from initial point of contact to closure
  • Ensure seamless benefits deployment, working with the partners as well as Marriott support teams (IT & Customer Contact Center) to address customer support requests.
  • Coordinating with internal functional teams (HQ, Continent, and area level) to develop new products launch or business as usual marketing campaigns. 
  • Working with external agencies and external vendors on marketing assets development.
  • Reporting & Analysis: evaluating the success of marketing campaigns based on their performance and reporting out to internal or external stakeholders as required.
  • Responsible for products’ marketing strategy and KPIs delivery
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management, execution, and activation of assigned tasks. 
  • Responsible for MEA Cards budget allocation and tracking
  • Maintaining relationships with other businesses and individuals.
  • Supports other partnerships as necessary
  • Mentoring and supporting other associates in the Loyalty and Partnerships teams across Global and EMEA divisions.

This role will report to Director, Financial & Enterprise Partnerships and will work in close collaboration with partners, Global Cobrand and EMEA regional teams.

Skills and experience we will look for in the ideal candidate

Experience 

  • Marketing experience required in areas such as: loyalty and partnerships marketing, digital marketing, brand marketing, events marketing, strategic alliances, sponsorships. 
  • Experience in Cobrand Credit Card product management and development within financial institutions preferred (banks, networks, ecc.)
  • A proven track record of managing complex multi-market, multi-stakeholder campaigns and projects that deliver upon company objectives.

Education or Certification 

  • Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management, Communications, Social Science or any relevant disciplines. 
  • 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in partnership development and activation, commercial development, and/or international consumer marketing, ideally in Financial Partnerships
  • Arabic speaker preferred

Skills and Competencies

  • Solid understanding of Marketing principles and Marketing Planning processes
  • Demonstrated ability to balance the interests and demands of multiple stakeholders
  • Independent thinker with team orientation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to work on multiple projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Power Point
