Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Certified Labor and Delivery Surgical Technologist to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Great opportunity for both new and experienced Surgical Technologists. You will be the lone technologist working with a group of experienced nurses. In addition to scrubbing into cases, you will need to have the flexibility to collaborate with the blood bank, maintain stock and cleanliness of the OR, and have the personality required to interact with the patients while they are in transport to and from the OR. This role could be a great fit for anybody who works per diem at another facility and is looking for affordable benefits.

Work Hours/Shift:

• Day Shift, Part-Time, 24- Hours, Includes every third weekend and third holiday. 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. No call.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Exceptional Patient Care: Must understand we exist for the patients and their care is the number one priority.
• Excellent Communicator: Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with admin, colleagues, patients and family member.
• Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
• Technical Familiarity: Understanding in computer-based applications, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
• Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist Program. AS Surgical Tech Program with minimum one year experience desirable.
• Licensure: Certified CST required. If not certified will have one year from date of hire to provide documentation of certification.
• Certification: BLS certification required from Red Cross or American Heart Association.
