The Valley Medical Group is part of the Valley Health System. The Valley Hospital is one of the busiest hospitals with 431 beds, approximately 46,000 admissions annually, over 70,000 patients treated in the Emergency Department, and over 3,500 babies born. The Hospital's primary service area includes 32 towns in northwestern Bergen County, home to over 460,000 people, and it has expanded its footprint well beyond that area. The construction of The New Valley Hospital, due to be completed in late 2023, will be a 900,000-square-foot state-of-the-art healthcare destination site on a 40-acre campus in Paramus.
Position Summary:
Valley Medical Group is looking for OBGYN to join the team. Valley's obstetricians/gynecologists provide comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological services to women of all ages. Six office locations in Bergan County, NJ. The Center for Childbirth helps to bring more than 3,800 babies into the world each year. The call schedule is 1:6, with a practice call coinciding with a hospital call. Separate Midwifery practice with nurse practitioners in each location. The Center for Childbirth is also equipped with state-of-the-art cesarean delivery rooms and a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The OBGYN Residency program is anticipated to start in July 2024. Valley has earned the Women's Choice Award® as one of America's 100 Best Hospitals for Patient Experience for six consecutive years. Valley is a four-time recipient of the prestigious Magnet Designation for Nursing Excellence from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. The Valley Hospital Fertility Center, Breast Imaging Center, Heart Care for Women, Gynecology Surgery, Urogynecology, and Fibroid Center form a strong team for Women's Health representation. Da Vinci system is available in the Hospital. Physicians have expertise in all forms of gynecologic surgery — including laparoscopic and robotic surgeries.
