  • Provide expertise advice, support, and coach senior accountants on relevant matters, including company policies, procedures, best practice and local legislation . 
  • Introduce and where appropriate adapt local financial policies to ensure local effectiveness and legal compliance for all the assigned areas. 
  • Work collaboratively with other departments in Russia to ensure business contin uity, high employee engagement and customer satisfaction . 
  • With assistance of the Financial Director , ensure timely reporting to the local and corporate stakeholders 
  • Recommend and implement processes that optimizes time management and support business continuity 
  • Analyse trends and metrics in partnership with colleagues from other departments , to develop solutions and suggest improvements of local polic ies to support business 
  • Help drive employee engagement by assessing performance within their allocated areas against the requirements of the business and facilitating action items to improve engagement levels. 
  • Act as a trusted CooperSurgical employee by adhering to our company values, as well as driving our commitment to Inclusion and Diversity and Employee Engagement. 
  • Any other related duties connected with the Company’s business as may be required. 
  • There will be some local and eventually international travel expected in this role . 
  • Master’s degree in a Finance 
  • Extensive relevant experience in Russia with a counting, financial and tax reporting 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience gained in international companies is high desirable

  • MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook 
  • ERP systems: 1C is required, Navision would be advantageous 
  • Extensive and up to date knowledge of Russian tax, acounting and financial reporting law . 
  • Basic knowledge of GAAP will be advantageous . 
  • SOX awareness. 
  • People focused and able to build and develop relationships with stakeholders 
  • A b le to analyse complex issues and recommend and implement practical solutions. 
  • High a ttention to detail while remaining focused on objectives 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise own workload with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrates a can-do attitude with the ability to respond positively to change 
  • Predominantly office working environment with pre-approved working from home arrangements. 
  • Prolonged use of a PC, laptops, display screens and mobile phone 
  • Able to work additional hours as necessary to achieve required performance
