Job Description:
Ebix Health’s Customer Support group provides end user support for our suite of software solutions. The Customer Support Specialist is a highly visible position responsible for first level support to our customers.
We look for results-oriented people who have initiative, a good attitude, the ability to learn quickly, a willingness to succeed, and who truly enjoy helping people.
Responsibilities will include:
- Answer, research, and resolve support requests via phone, email and web in a timely and friendly manner
- Provide regular reporting on status of support requests, outstanding issues, activities and achievements
- Troubleshoot customer issues related to installations or general use of software
- Continually work to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our support services
- Communicate with internal resources on level 2 and 3 support logs
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting software applications
- Ability to solve problems quickly and methodically
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Independent self-starter with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high call volume environment
- Computer literate with knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products
- Ability to work 9 AM – 6 PM EST
