Description
The Division of Infectious Diseases and HIV Medicine of Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center (UHCMC), Cleveland, OH, seeks a board-certified or board-eligible infectious diseases-trained physician for a clinician-educator position with a faculty appointment at Case Western Reserve University at the Assistant Professor level. The Clinician Educator will focus on developing an immune compromised host (ICH) infectious diseases program with an emphasis on patients undergoing stem cell transplantation in close collaboration with colleagues in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at UHCMC’s Seidman Cancer Hospital. There are both inpatient and outpatient aspects of this position, as well as full integration within the Division of Infectious Diseases, including attending on the general infectious diseases consultation service. Candidates will be encouraged to develop a clinical research program focused infectious diseases of the ICH. There are opportunities for participation in infection prevention and antibiotic stewardship programs.
