Job title: Finance Testing Services Specialist

About the job:

You will act as a Testing Services Specialist for Finance Business processes as

part of the RSS organization. This position reports into the Global Lead Testing Services and is managing Finance Testing activities in the area of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Management, Fixed Asset and General Ledger Accounting cross-divisionally. The Specialist will work independently to drive key tasks for the Finance work stream.

Key accountabilities:

• Definition of global, regional or local test cases, test plans, test data and other test prerequisites of the relevant test phases (Dry-Run, SAT, UAT, Regression Test)
• Execute the global, regional & local tests & document them according to the system specific framework in SAP Solution Manager and the existing Roche PMM and CSV
• Coordinate the testing activities with potentially external partners (e.g. 3PL)
• Support in the definition and execution of automated test cases to increase the efficiency in the RSS Organization
• Defect management handling within- and potentially across the streams. Close cooperation required between different business teams, the CSV team and IT
• Ensure that all testing activities are performed in accordance to the project
• Setup a proper status reporting for test execution to create visibility about the progress to the Test Management team and other Stakeholders
• Update of global Test Cases in case of any changes to the Template processes
• Close cooperation required with other teams like Deployment, BPM Organization, E2E Support Model, Quality, IT, Change Management and Training
• Cooperation across the RSS Regional Testing Service Hub: The different regions support each other in critical situations to ensure that bottlenecks are covered and Project timelines are met

Who you are:

• SAP System end user experience (R3/S4 HANA) required
• Skills for SAP Solution Manager as testing tool required
• Ability to analyze, design, describe & test the solutions from an E2E business process understanding
• Knowledge of process-based/cross-process IT systems (ERP and decentralized systems) and the respective applications
• Experience with Master Data, Reporting and Analytics in the respective area
• 5+ years related business experience or equivalent Project Management skills in the area of Finance
• Master's degree or equivalent experience in the respective functional area, Business Administration, or related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Broad knowledge of business processes, policies and programs in the respective functional area
• Requires excellent problem solving and analytical skills to resolve a variety of routine and complex issues and to describe the business requirements accordingly
• Strong Stakeholder management, communication and change management skills
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (articulate an objective clearly)
• Strong people skills are required as the role is highly consultative, interacting with staff at all levels across an organization
• Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships with ability to engage resources outside of direct-control to gain consensus, meet deadlines and achieve goals and objectives
• Capable of presenting material to senior management
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Ideally experienced in multi-site/global projects
• Able to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines
• Awareness and ability to lead and work in multicultural teams
• Think analytically and solve problems well

Salary starts from 2500 EUR gross/monthly. Final salary depends on the successful candidate's level of experience, skills and qualifications.

RSS Riga, Latvia

Due to the continued high demand for RSS services, we created a satellite location in Riga, Latvia in 2023. The Riga office is part of the Roche Services & Solutions EMEA organization and complements the Budapest site in capabilities and capacities. The Riga office is planned to grow to more than 200 employees over the next 4-5 years, with talents in exciting and emerging fields such as Digital Marketing, Regulatory Capabilities, Agile Coaching, Project Management as well as Finance.
