Job Role: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Location: Madrid

Reporting to: Head of Testing

Our technical team is expanding, and we have a thrilling job opportunity for Senior Test Automation Engineer who is seeking challenging work in international projects for clients worldwide and wants to contribute to our development and growth. We are looking for IT professionals to join our brilliant team in Madrid in a senior capacity to help in developing their latest software solutions dedicated to blood, plasma, tissue and cells products.

Profile/ set of responsibilities: The selected candidate should have 3+ years of experience in QA and at least 2+ in test automation and test framework development. Strong technical testing skills and ability to learn new tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing product requirement documents and engineering functional specifications to define test strategies, test approach and to scope testing
  • Design and Document Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Cases
  • Designing, implementing, and executing automated test suite for different applications
  • Contribute to design of the Test Automation Framework, using best practices
  • Analyzing issues and providing feedback
  • Document test procedures and report the test results

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Technical Educational Background
  • Good knowledge of QA and SDLC
  • Working experience in AGILE environment
  • Good knowledge of web applications and web services
  • Familiar with QA terminology and practices
  • Good understanding of OOP
  • Hands on experience with programming/scripting languages (JAVA preferred)
  • Hands on experience in writing automated tests (Familiarity with some frameworks used for automated application testing)
  • Understand basic principles of Page Object Model, Data Driven Testing, Reporting
