Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for identifying and analyzing customer Quality and Technical requirements and supporting the development, implementation and improvement of quality assurance systems and activities to ensure these meet customer requirements. Partners with Customer Service, Program Management, Design Engineering, and Value Stream Support Teams to ensure timely and accurate flow down of customer requirements and effective integration into TDGO documentation and processes.

Other specific skills required: 

• Experience with Customer contract review 
• Experience interpreting technical drawings/specifications

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar technical discipline preferred
• 5 years’ experience in Quality in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Web -based applications and tools required
• Oil and Gas industry experience preferred
• Certified Quality Engineer or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must have working knowledge of ISO 9001-2008
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, taking facts and information and assembling them into a logical report with well supported conclusions and summaries.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently.

Physical Demands:

• Light physical effort equal to occasional movement of product or documentation
• Regularly required to sit, stand, or walk throughout the facility.

Work Environment:

• This position requires periods of working behind a desk, performing tasks on computer.
• Significant periods of standing or walking throughout the facility to interface with other employees.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Safety Glasses, Safety Shoes - required areas
• Additional protection may be required while performing inspection near machines.

This employee is required to perform other administrative duties as requested, directed or assigned.
