Prepare for your professional future with an internship at Bland & Associates, P.C. We are seeking future graduates with a GPA of 3.0 or higher who can commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week. The internship program is designed to expose future graduates to our profession, our firm and the ever-changing business environment. Interns learn hands-on what it takes to be a part of a growing Omaha CPA firm by tackling a variety of different assignments, in the areas of accounting, audit, and tax, and government consulting. Bland & Associates, P.C. believes in providing our interns a real-life business experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Work in our audit, tax and/or Federal contracting departments.
• Identify and communicate potential problem areas during engagements
• Work directly with other staff, managers and partners
• Ability to successfully prioritize and manage a variety of commitments and deadlines
• Capability to work accurately and precisely with a high degree of detail
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products
• Work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to display initiative while being confident in one's abilities in order to work independently
• Training is provided, but the position requires a strong element of independent learning.
