Position Overview:

Omega Information Technology (IT) Project Manager is responsible for the completion (implementation and testing) of the Agile software. The manager is also responsible to set the completion deadline.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with pending software (Agile) team to ensure timely testing and implementation of Agile software;
  • Responsible to supervise the following implementation process of the Agile system: Kick-off, Solution Mapping, Solution Acceptance Criteria Document review, Customization, Data Migration (Scripting, Testing, Etc), Application setup, Installation – OS, Oracle Database, Oracle Application Server, Installation – The Software Application(s), Training of Solution Acceptance Team, Solution Acceptance, Training of Users, Project Sign-off and Post Implementation Support;
  • Track progress of projects and monitor roadblocks during implementation phase;
  • Accountable for the Testing process of the Agile system: Unit Testing, Integration Testing and Delivery / Release;
  • Organizing and managing all phases of the projects to ensure on-time completion;
  • Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating our IT problems;
  • Train Agile system users on the usage of the system;
  • Provide maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms;
  • Identifies and resolves issues and risks;
  • Reports on projects progress, offers viable solutions and opportunities as they arise;
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement;
  • Provide weekly updates to Management about the status of the Agile System and;
  • All other tasks instructed by your supervisor for the ultimate success of the company and to achieve Management & Shareholders goals.

Requirement & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology; masters preferred.
  • 7+ years’ experience in project management, especially larger projects with established firms.
  • Critical thinking and problem solving.
  • Excellent decision-making and leadership capabilities.
  • ITIL or ITSM certifications preferred. PMP certifications required.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Good communications skills, with customers, team and stakeholders.
  • Analytical and strong organizational skills, with excellent verbal and written ability.
  • Business & IT strategy experience.
  • Knowledge of related software tools including but not limited to ProjectManager.com, JIRA, Microsoft Office, Origo, etc.
  • Ability to build a software or system.
