In this role, you will mainly be responsible for working with continuous integration, continuous delivery of deployment pipelines amongst other daily activities. You will be part of a diversified, innovative, and highly skilled team. As part of this dynamic role, you will work closely with other platform / application teams to inculcate and influence the DevOps & Engineering way of working

  • Assess and evaluate suitability of applications to be on-boarded on the DevOps pipeline
  • On-board new applications and build delivery pipelines if needed
  • Well versed with Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery practices and able to apply them
  • Well versed with version control practices like GIT
  • Well versed with container architecture, container standards, container design, container building and able to assess and establish the need for containers
  • Well versed with Infrastructure as a Code principles and technologies
  • Familiar with SRE Practice Areas such as, self-service automation, SLAs and SLOs, incident management and post mortems, performance engineering, capacity and scalability as well as distributed design
  • Expertise in Kubernetes Deployments and Manifests as well as Dockerfile Composition
  • Expertise on creating Helm Charts for deployments
  • Knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD Platforms
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing and familiar with Azure, AWS, etc...
  • Expertise in Linux OS (RHCE/LPI Certification will be an advantage)
  • Knowledge of networking devices such as Firewalls, Load Balancers, etc...
