Job Description & Summary

Your tasks

• You will be part of the Deals Strategy & Operations team (Value Creation Services), focusing on identifying, planning and realizing value from an M&A transaction.
• You will assist high-impact consulting projects in a timely manner for key industry players and build and sustain trusted internal and external relationships.
• You will bring first experiences in delivering deal-related (operations) due diligence projects with a focus on carve-out, operational and value creation topics.
• You will bring first experiences in working on carve-out consulting projects (including planning and execution), both for corporate as well as private equity clients. 
• You will bring broad Operations and Finance Transformation experience ideally in a deal-related environment (or beyond).
• You will support our fast-growing deals practice, uniquely positioned as a leader in Switzerland, offering a full range of M&A consulting services, from strategy to execution, giving you a wide range of project opportunities.

Your profile

• You have a value creation background and (ideally) first experience in (pre-deal) due diligence and carve-out execution projects.
• You have a Masters' degree and first work experience (e.g. through internships), for Senior Associate a minimum of 2-5 years relevant work experience, having worked primarily on deal and/or consulting-related assignments at a top-tier consulting firm or Big 4.
• You ideally have gained experience in carve-out planning and execution projects (with a focus on the Operations or Finance function) and/or are experienced in executing (operational) due diligence and value creation projects. A good understanding of financial analysis is a plus (e.g. proven via CPA/CFA/AICPA).
• You feel comfortable to advise clients across a wide variety of industries. Having worked in more than one industry is a plus.
• You have an understanding of the corporate deal cycle.
• You have strong analytical skills with a “can do” attitude and you are fluent in English and German. Any other languages are a plus.
