Oversee systems and process enhancements, special projects, and strategic initiatives across Investment Operations. Through partnership with associated business leaders as well as with technical teams establishes coordinated plans to realize a shared vision and then manage the execution and support of those plans. Manage specialists that develop process enhancements and automation and maintains financial systems.

What you will do:

  • Makes recommendations and directly influence decisions regarding system enhancements, IT and Investment Operations department resources, and Investment Operations department goals.
  • Directly supports the Investment Operations senior management in the monitoring and direction of system projects and prioritization.
  • Will implement the transformation initiative and align with the overall finance goals and initiatives.
  • Mentor team members to build on their experience and efficiency.
  • Work with associated line of business leaders to establish and maintain a clear process roadmap.
  • Prioritize and design strategic use of resources between technology and business units.
  • Define and execute tactical steps that realize a strategic technical vision.
  • Oversee the work of recommending and defining changes and efficiencies in processes, policies, and systems that will need to be considered.
  • Oversee the establishment and maintenance of procedures and best practices for organization.
  • Oversee the implementation of continuous improvement processes to elevate organizational capabilities and business value.
  • Provide the Investment Operational interpretation of system enhancement and correction requests to the IT departments.
  • As Value Stream Owner, this role would serve as the point of contact and lead local efforts as determined by the working group team.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 8 plus years of securities operations or accounting experience in the investment administration area of a financial industry firm Without a specialized degree, an additional four (4) years plus of directly related experience is required
  • Software development background

The salary range below shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Base Salary Range

$ 112,800.00-163,575.00
