We are looking for Senior Actuarial Manager to lead the product pricing projects for driving product strategy and support other actuarial projects within CLM Hub.

Key Responsibility

  • Lead the identified product pricing projects in modeling and profit testing.
  • Be able to explain the results and recommend actions to address relevant risks associated with the products.
  • Be able to think from the CLM Hub perspective in performing the work, realizing the synergies across 3 LBUs.
  • Work closely with the product team to explore new product ideas, actively participate in formulating the product calendar, and manage the overall delivery process for both shareholder and regulatory approval.
  • Be able to independently liaise with external reinsurers and make recommendations to management.
  • Provide support to other actuarial projects within the CLM Hub as required.
  • Develop and implement the best practice of product pricing methodology.
  • Mentor the younger members of the team through the learning process.

Job Requirement

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in the Actuarial field in a life insurance company. However, candidates with less experience can be considered for the Manager title.
  • Competency in using actuarial software, including Prophet, is a must.
  • Good progress towards actuarial professional qualification is preferred.
  • The candidate should possess good conceptual, analytical, and financial skills.
  • Strong communication skills, MS Office, influencing, and presentation skills are required.
  • An understanding of accounting principles is desirable.
