Job Description

Teledyne Reynolds (a business unit of Teledyne Defense Electronics, LLC) has over 60 years of heritage supplying the highest quality, high voltage interconnect solutions to the most demanding of applications in the Military/Defense, High-end Industrial, Medical, Energy and Space industries.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

  • Set up, run, monitor and troubleshoot production, capacitor winding equipment, and current pre-conditioning stations
  • Set up, run, monitor various mechanical and high voltage tests and test equipment in support of production and engineering testing
  • As deemed necessary, assemble and/or solder product as needed to support production schedules – particularly development and low rate production runs
  • Assembly of piece parts into final assemblies
  • Perform hand soldering operations on small components and clean assemblies, test and bonding capacitor assembly
  • Visual inspection of capacitor products
  • Perform set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications
  • Other duties also include assembly of electronic connectors

Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 0-2 years related experience
  • Previous soldering certification preferred
  • Ability to handle/use small tools and components (tweezers, pliers, cutters, soldering iron, ovens, crimpers, screwdrivers, wire cutters, wrenches, vises and continuity testers, oscilloscopes and electrical test equipment)
  • Working under a microscope
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Excellent math skills (algebra)
  • Read and understand schematic diagrams, mechanical drawings, interconnect drawings
  • Ability to learn and perform mechanical, electrical and swage testing
  • Ability to lift up 50 lbs

NOTE: Training will be during 1st shift.

Salary Range:

$29,480.00 - $49,280.00
