About the Role
Our Program Managers / Senior Program Managers are indispensable part of the go to client team in the agency. They are the trusted project’s partner and point of contact for clients, partnering with account leadership to deliver operational efficiencies, delivery excellence, project governance, resource optimization to increase speed-to-market and ROI for our clients and the agency.
PMs/SPMs review the client brief and solve our client’s more significant business problems, not just the immediate request at hand. They are an invaluable resource to the client quartets in helping to define and manage scopes of work, project-based agency resources based on client budgets and project requirements, and the integration with key partners throughout the process.
What You’ll Do
- Experienced in managing various programs of work. This includes end to end 360 Campaign with a wide range of deliverables/assets, Always-on social content, Brand Playbook/Toolkit, Video & Banner Production, Landing Pages & Google Analytics and website design & development
- Partner with Program Direcrtor, Creative Operation Director, Business leads, Finance Partner and respective capability lead to scope, plan and manage projects and programs of work assigned with maximum efficiency and impact
- Day-to-day project / delivery contact with clients and other agency partners to manage the logistical aspects of project delivery
- Own/champion/enforce agency core process (Think/Create/Realise/Optimise)
- Effective scoping based on mandatory customer/business outcomes and creative ambitions, assessed against client budgets and timelines
- Effective scope management and communicating change requests, and managing scope-creep to avoid missed deadlines and cost overages
- Ensure all agency briefs are complete and clear (context, mandatory information, deliverables, timelines, budgets etc.) before engaging managed resources
- Enforce internal Quality Assurance (QA) processes and measure to avoid/minimise duplication of effort and protect agency reputation
- Co-own (with Account Management) the project budgets to manage costs and deliverables as well as staffing resources
- Develop and maintain clear and complete Statement of Work (SoW)
- Effectively present and justify scope of work, including timelines, budgets, resource plans and general delivery ecosystems (integrations and partnerships)
- Maintain up-to-date resource and project information in Delivery Power Tools (SmartSheets / 10Kfeet) for effective, data-informed project and resource management and reporting
- Identify potential project risks and developing contingency plans
- Help facilitate and maintain a collaborative and inclusive work environment where diversity and talent, and flexibility in workflows become key strengths in driving highly creative, effective and efficient outcomes
- Understand & respect every department’s / capability’s role in delivering great work and building relationships
What You’ll Need
- 4 – 7 years of related experience in program/project management, with client facing industry experience managing “the making” and delivery of great work
- Experienced in delivering programs of work and integrated campaigns in the following verticals: Digital/Social & B2C Advertising, Technology Platforms, Content Marketing & Integrated Production
- Experienced in forming strong relationships at all levels, internall and with clients/partners
- Must have experience in collaborating & coordinating with cross functional team and managing third party partners to deliver projects successfully
- Proven negotiation skills – Cost Estimates, Phasing of projects, Scoping & Descoping of projects, Change Requests & Project Reconciliation
- Must have experience in project and resource planning with proactive tracking of status update and constantly mitigate project risks/issues
- Experienced in driving solutions and deliver projects on time and budget
- Able to prioritise, multi-task and also manage stakeholders’ expectation. Demonstrable capability to deliver projects with multiple deliverables and stakeholder within allocated timelines and budgets
- Working knowledge of agency operations, including Resource Booking, Finance and Commercial processes and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrate experience in both Agile Scrum and Waterfall Project Management Framework
- Demonstrable knowledge of client-side marketing operations
- Demonstrable risk assessment, mitigation and management experience (project level)
- Curious, a lifelong learner, good listener, someone who reads people and those in a room well and adapts their style and response accordingly
- Calm and confident under pressure
- Well-organised, punctual and accountable with great presentation skills
