To support our quality management team in Berlin, we are looking for a working student (m/f/d) with a high interest in the apparel and fashion industry. The weekly working hours are 15 – 20 hours and can be arranged flexibly. We offer a comprehensive insight into the quality management of a fashion brand and are looking forward to your application.

Responsibilities

• Practical implementation of systematic quality control in the incoming goods department on clothing samples as a set of sizes (processing, dimensions, packaging, labeling, material quality)
• Recording of the results in the in-house PDM system and evaluation of the results on the basis of the defect catalog and the defect categories
• Development of solution proposals for quality problems in industrial production
• Support in the preparation of presentations and guidelines for suppliers and product developers on the subject of quality
• Support in the preparation of ongoing quality analyses of incoming goods and implementation of new processes in quality control
• Support in the creation of workshop documents on the subject of TKG, maintenance and product labeling
• Work closely with Quality Manager, attending regular meetings and team meetings,
• Regular reporting to Quality Manager

Requirements

• First experience in tailoring through education or internships (at least 1 year) as a requirement
• Enrolled student in apparel technology (or fashion management)
• Strong interest in operational tasks in quality management and data processing
• Basic understanding of apparel (cut, processing, measurements, materials)
• Good MS Excel, Word and Power Point skills
• Good English knowledge in apparel terminology
• Confident and open communication skills
• High sense of responsibility
• Fast, reliable and independent way of working
• Positive mindset, enjoy teamwork
