About this team

We are currently searching for an experienced technology manager to join our team and help shape the team for success. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, problem-solver with a sharp analytical mind and the proven ability to enroll cross-functional areas to achieve continuous improvement in program management and delivery. A day in the life: 

lululemon needs a Sr. Manager in Technology to provide management and leadership oversight for strategic, business-transformation projects in Global Product. This role assists with the program delivery governance, defining & improving ITSM practice, QA (Quality Assurance) practices. 

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support and advise program managers in planning, managing, and evaluating project and initiatives, operations, and processes.
  • Deliver data views of portfolio and IT assets (hardware, software, applications, etc.) to the enterprise, including executive staff, for use in decision making across technology initiatives within Global Product. 
  • Provide expert guidance to optimize systems, procedures, and processes, evaluate operational and program effectiveness and develop solutions to make improvements or address performance issues.
  • Establish and consistently administer/maintain delivery and program methodologies and processes.
  • Develop dashboards, graphics, and reports, supporting the portfolio management in creating materials for executive sponsor and steering committee communication and meetings.
  • Create program level roadmaps for which consists of aligned milestones across domain areas.
  • Manage portfolio level risks and dependencies to ensure overall success and predictability of program.
  • Define the processes needed to achieve and sustain operational excellence, including small business enhancement delivery and systems reliability.
  • Coordinating with the project managers and other technology leaders on project, workload, and asset information and processes.
  • Build trusted and effective relationships working with project managers & program managers to ensure they deliver on-time, on-budget, on benefit and on-quality (and intervening to resolve issues as required).
  • Direct and assist implementing portfolio management policies and processes to support fact-based decisions on investments into technology initiatives.
  • Create community of practice for Program, Operations, and QA/QC.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 15+ years of experience in information technology teams and systems, 3 years as a Program Manager, or Project Manager leading large projects.
  • 5 years of experience in senior leadership roles directly leading people, 
  • Experience directly leading, developing organizational talent and teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with effective communication skills to drive clarity with IT and business teams.
  • Ability to apply best practices to the software development lifecycle (SDLC) for projects based on experiences with iterative/agile and blended approaches, effectively coordinates implementations with cross functional teams. 
  • Ability to drive change through data. 
  • Identifies and initiates action plans with limited guidance, self-prioritizes, drives to deliver on commitments without prompting and communicates ahead of deadlines
  • Planning & Organizing / Driving for Results, ability to break down complexity.

Compensation and Benefits Package 

For Washington Applicants: lululemon’s compensation offerings are rooted in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position in Washington is from $156,600-$205,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our competitive Total Rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus offering, subject to program eligibility requirements.
