Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of intricate wiring, bonding, connectors for electrical

penetrators, junction boxes and similar equipment under direction of supervisor.

  • Must be able to read and understand basic blueprints, wiring diagrams, and process sheets
  • Must be able to use simple electrical measuring devices to make polarity determinations, Insulation Resistance, and perform continuity tests.
  • Must be able to assemble properly from detailed written or verbal instructions
  • Oral/Written Communication – Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Records data; Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.

Qualifications:

  • Successful passing of both Vision Acuity (Jaeger 1 or 2) and Ishihara Color Blindness test.

Education and Experience:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to apply common sense in performing job
  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to use basic high school math skills
  • 2-4 years cable assembly experience

Physical Demands:

  • Good coordination and flexibility in both hands
  • Move and occasionally lift up to 50lbs. or more

Work Environment:

  • Factory environment

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Use of safety glasses
  • Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers

  • Quality Systems
