Global Blue is a global leader with the concept of Tax Free Shopping. Global Blue enables international shoppers to claim VAT off their Tax Free Shopping eligible purchases, and to receive a seamless Payment experience while abroad.

We are looking for a Refund Promoter for a part time position, to support our Athens Airport Refund Team. We are looking for someone who can be flexible in terms of weekdays working hours and who can work during weekends as well according to our operation needs.

Your role

As a Refund Promoter you will support the team in providing best possible customer experience while helping travellers in the refunding of their VAT.

Refund Promoter is not just a typical customer service role – it offers you the possibility to work in an international and dynamic environment with multiple cultures and languages when at the same time focusing on creating a great customer experience.

The position also provides a great insight to the Tax Refund industry.

Main duties and responsibilities

As a Refund Promoter you will be:

  • Greeting the Travellers that wish to issue or refund a tax free form
  • Applying good judgement and making on spot decisions on tax refund eligibility
  • Making sure that Travellers hold appropriate documentation and pre fill their details in the system if needed
  • Reviewing tax free forms for completeness, accuracy and compliance
  • Ensuring that the Travellers have understood the process they need to follow before and after refund
  • Following the Fraud Prevention and security policies
  • Delivering professional customer experience with various Travellers
  • Observing Global Blue policies, guidelines and preparing reports and statistics
  • Helping to ensure good relations with Authorities, Merchants and Agents
  • Other office tasks

Preferable skills and competencies

  • Fluent in English and Greek
  • Other language skills are an advantage
  • Dedication to customer service and providing the best possible customer experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Positive attitude towards partners, colleagues and good team player
  • Agile but thorough
  • Flexible in terms of working hours
  • Experienced in using of Microsoft Office software

Experience

Preferably with 1-2 years of work experience in customer service roles.
