Job Description

The Intermediate Modeling and Simulation Developer will design and implement complex simulations of air, missile, and space warfare systems, working with experienced M&S developers in a team, moving quickly to leadership roles based on experience and demonstrated abilities. The initial activities encompass activity from requirements development to product testing. Customer interaction is a vital aspect of this job as understanding of M&S and EADSIM grows. The primary skill-set for this work is the ability to translate systems and their supporting technologies into models allowing evaluation of those systems in the full context of the battlefield as presented in EADSIM. Periodic travel is required to support usage at various sites, both CONUS and OCONUS. 

Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) is continuing development of the Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM). EADSIM is a many on many simulation of air, missile and space warfare. EADSIM incorporates use-driven capabilities with a proven, rapid-response capability to develop and support the model to meet the evolving user needs. The broad gamut of battlefield technologies and interactions of those technologies makes the tool a rich environment for evaluation of new technologies. 

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Requires a B.S. degree in a recognized field of engineering, plus a minimum of five (5) years diversified engineering experience with a demonstrated capability for technical leadership. 

  • Candidate must possess an active DoD Security Clearance***

Strongly preferred:

Experience with C/C++ programming languages. Experience with development and use of simulations.

Active Secret Clearance is preferred. Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance is required.
