CSL Behring is a global leader in developing and delivering high-quality medicines that treat people with rare and serious diseases. Our treatments offer promise for people in more than 100 countries living with conditions in the immunology, hematology, cardiovascular and metabolic, respiratory, and transplant therapeutic areas.
Translational Research in CSL R&D is a transdisciplinary and versatile function bridging preclinical Research and Clinical Development. Translational Research output is relevant for understanding the disease biology and mechanisms-of-action of drug candidates in target indications to inform the clinical development pathway.
You will be part of the newly created Integrated Translational Evidence Group within Translational Research at the CSL Behring Research site in Bern. We develop and implement non-interventional research strategies integrating healthcare data with omics data from relevant patient populations to guide decision-making in areas of main importance to CSL's drug development pipeline.
You will collaborate with Therapeutic Area Experts, Clinical Development and Data Science groups to produce tangible insights into drug candidate characterization, disease progression, support the selection of applicable biomarkers, and explore asset re-purposing opportunities across the portfolio. Working with a global network of CSL R&D functions, private and institutional partners you will identify and access appropriate data sources and technologies to accelerate clinical development efforts in different therapeutic areas. We are now opening this position for an experienced and dedicated person to join our team of passionate scientists.
