Job Description:

Reporting into the Sr. Director, Revenue Operations, this position is responsible for the technical and analytical support of the Foot and Ankle business unit related to Sales Operations and Market opportunities. Key duties will be centered on streamlining reporting and automation, financial modeling, building new reports in PowerBI, analyzing market data, pricing analytics, and maintaining legacy excel reporting.

This position is also responsible for the development of financial models and statistical analysis in the creation of evaluating surgeon purchasing behavior. This requires technical expertise in Excel, relational databases, dealing with large datasets from various sources, and writing complex calculations in multiple syntax

In this role, the Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for understanding Enovis Foot & Ankle Business Unit systems, data sources, and reporting tools to improve existing processes and increase operational efficiencies. Key areas of focus will be centered on automating and standardizing performance reports to support the business unit.

The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for supporting the Foot and Ankle field organizations with detailed transactional customer sales, product sales, and commission expense vs budget metrics. In this advisory position, the Business Intelligence Developer is required to use analysis and judgement to advise finance and sales management of key business findings to drive revenue, quota attainment, and expense targets.

The Business Intelligence Developer will take a lead role in the development, learning, and rollout of Microsoft Power BI to finance and commercial leadership. Essential responsibilities will include creating automated data feeds from several data sources, building dynamic reports centered on key financial and sales performance metrics, and instituting efficient methods to distribute information to wide audiences.

Must be able to work independently and take initiative without the express direction of management. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop business insight roadmap for metrics and technology.
  • Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Build, develop and maintain data models in Power BI, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics support that support key business decisions.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
  • Oversee the data/report requests process: tracking requests submitted, prioritization, approval, etc.
  • Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology and business needs within your department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
  • Communicate results and business impacts of insight initiatives to stakeholders within and outside of the company

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or closely related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3-4 years Power BI design & development experience
  • 3-4 years Power BI data querying and modeling capabilities, such as creation of calculated columns, measures, and relationships
  • 3 years’ experience performing complex data transformations using DAX & Power Query
  • 5 years SQL experience

  • Strong data analysis skills
  • 3 years’ experience in a liaison capacity with IT
