As a key member of the Business Intelligence & Enterprise Performance Management you will play a meaningful role in carrying out all aspects of the BI Manager and ensure we are effectively delivering the powerful Enovis story to our current and prospective investors.
Job Title: BI Manager
Reports To: Director, Business Intelligence & Enterprise Performance Management
Key Responsibilities
- Business intelligence (BI) manager is responsible for overseeing the creation and maintenance of data-driven insights that help the organization make better decisions
- Manages a team of analysts & Power BI developers to gather, cleanse, organize, and analyze large amounts of data to generate reports and other visualizations that support business strategy
- Develop software tasks for team in accordance with BI standards and methodologies
- Manage and own help desk tickets relating to data, front-end security, development & customer issues
- Writing reports and presentations that present data and findings in a clear and concise manner
- Advocating for BI solutions that will help both technical & business organizations achieve goals
- Coordinating with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure compatibility and alignment with existing systems
- Analyzing complex business and data issues to resolve technical, data & reporting challenges
- Working/mentoring direct reports team to develop goals, objectives, and strategies for improving
- Recommending changes to existing BI processes or policies to improve efficiency
- Determine, analyze, and document business requirements, working with business stakeholders, to support business processes and system solutions
- Work with team to identify process improvements or automation opportunities and influence data governance strategies
- Identify sources of data to resolve tickets, support projects and resolve business issues
- Lead/drive BI initiatives/projects with both internal and vendor resources/teams
- CAB point of contact from Business Intelligence team – ensuring all IT change processes are followed and communicate internally with the BI team.
- Own month-end/year-end/quarter-end monitoring activities and be on-call as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years’ experience in BI space
- 5 years’ experience with tools and concepts related to data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, structured and unstructured data
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with Data Warehousing
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with PowerBI
- Strong SQL knowledge (must know how to do complex joins, query data, review existing complex code, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing teams in BI space
- Oracle EBS a big plus
- Snowflake knowledge a plus
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
