Job Description

The Sr. Software Engineer is responsible for developing, testing and programming applications software that pulls data from the ERP Oracle database to automate business processes. Update or develop ERP reports and queries. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures as they relate to databases. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Manage and prioritize business unit requests for ERP data extraction in the form of custom applications, reports and uploads to 3rd party platforms such as OneStream, OCR, etc. Document the business requirements and work directly with business stakeholders to validate and test. - Implement custom configurations in IFS – fields, menus and events as approved by the change approval process - Develop, update and maintain reports utilizing the IFS Report Developer/Report Design Studio tool, Crystal and SQL. - Set up inbound/outbound integrations (e.g. EDI) - Work with ERP team colleagues to complete regression testing for IFS upgrades, updates, and implementations. - Support and collaborate with the ERP Systems Administrator in multiple technical tasks - Support the ERP Manager in managing vendor relationships (i.e. IFS Technical Support, etc.) To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Applicants for this position must be a United States citizen or resident visa holder and reside in the United States. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and a minimum of 4-5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the following areas: - Hands on experience in IFS ERP v10 or relevant experience in other IFS versions - Hands on experience in integration/interface with external systems - IFS custom configurations and report development - Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL programming - Experience working directly with users to determine priorities and implementation details - Experience setting up inbound/outbound integration e.g. EDI (preferred) Application/Database Computer Skills - Advanced knowledge and in-depth experience with the following: - IFS - Familiar with ERP software/IFS applications in general - Applicable business process, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - IFS Programming methodologies, structures, and - Object Oriented Design principles - Relational database, Oracle Database - Understanding of IFS Foundation1 Administration such as Users, Security, Profile, Custom Objects, and Events - Strong IFS Report Designer Development/ IFS Developer Studio, Quick Report, and SSRS preferred - Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL languages - Strong knowledge of Crystal Reports development - Other - Working knowledge of Data Warehouse setup and maintenance of the IFS Oracle database will be a plus. - Knowledge of programming methodologies, structures, and concepts - .Net framework, UML, XML, SharePoint preferred - Knowledge of object-oriented development languages (e.g. X++, C++, C#, VB.NET, Java, .NET framework) preferred - Knowledge of SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) preferred - Database design and SQL (Query Language) – Oracle PSQL and MS TSQL - Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.) - Support ticketing systems, change control methodologies and their importance to ITIL best practices Language Skills Strong interpersonal skills. Strong oral and written communication abilities with all levels of management, employees, and customers, ability to communicate and explain information efficiently

Salary Range:

$93,500.00 - $156,200.00
