The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Site Finance Business Partner, as the Senior Manager, Finance Business Partner, you will partner with senior Site Leaders at CSL's Bradley, IL manufacturing facility by providing accurate, timely, and meaningful financial analysis, insights, and direction necessary to support and drive business decisions and meet the financial performance, analysis, and reporting requirements of the CSL Behring Finance team. Execution of this purpose will occur with a willingness and openness to business partners' needs, focusing on continuously improving the internal business processes and quality of insights, and supporting sustainable profitable growth strategy through insightful analyses.

This role and its direct reports will focus on supporting the Bradley E2E team's activities including production planning, BoMs and routings, product costing, provisions, and conversion costs. The incumbent will acquire the knowledge of all operational areas at the site and possess the ability to provide technical guidance in financial systems, applications, and acumen.

You may live near Bradley, IL or King of Prussia, PA. If you live near CSL's King of Prussia, PA corporate offices, you must be willing to travel to the Bradley, IL site up to 20% of the time.

The Role:

  • Lead Finance Business Partnering in Bradley to support the Value Streams, Quality Assurance, Maintenance to Utilities (M2U), and Supply Chain. Contribute to the development of reporting, dashboards, and analytics to ultimately drive improved decisions by understanding the financial impact of decisions. Develop a KPI framework to drive accountability and financial acumen among the business partners.
  • Prepare insightful commentary for variances to forecast and budget to the site's E2E leadership team. Commentary will focus on key performance drivers and actions required to mitigate risks and prevent unfavorable variance from recurring.
  • Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecast for the site including providing insightful commentary to the E2E and E2E Finance leadership. Provide commentary to Group Finance to explain P&L and inventory changes on the balance sheet. Lead cost center planning process for assigned cost centers and financial evaluation of targeted process improvement initiatives.
  • Lead cost accounting activities including calculation of standard costs, manufacturing variance analysis, and provision analysis in collaboration with Operations, QA, and Supply Chain.
  • Support the improvement of existing financial systems, dashboards, processes and procedures, and liaise with other CSL Behring sites to achieve global standardization.
  • Review financial submissions, as requested, for business cases or high value Procurement contracts.
  • Provide Finance evaluation of business improvement and growth projects including costing data for capital investment projects. Leverage FP&A resources to support development of business cases and other complex analyses and modelling.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop team focusing on long-term talent development and succession planning. Accountable for direct reports performance and team culture. Provide development opportunities when available. Ensure team exemplifies CSL Values.
  • Support external audit process by providing documentation or analyses as requested.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Required Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related degree
  • CPA or CMA differentiating factor
  • MBA preferable
  • Equivalent years of work experience may apply.
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience in financial and accounting roles including measuring and analyzing performance to budget and forecast
  • Minimum 5 years product costing experience at a large manufacturing site or over multiple mid to large sites. Preference given for SAP BOM experience.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent business partnering skills including effectively challenging, advising, and supporting decision making through effective collaboration
  • Led a team with different skills and level of experience
  • Experience functioning within a global organization
  • Proven experience providing senior leadership with financial analysis including insightful commentary and communicating in business partner language
  • Demonstrated track record of effectively functioning in a team. Must maintain discretion and confidentiality. Remain composed and professional during collaboration.
  • Experience engaging diverse stakeholders at varying levels within the organization
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
