One Firm Technology (OFT) – McKinsey Cloud Services (MCS) is an entity within McKinsey's worldwide IT organization that provides IT support services primarily to McKinsey firm members & clients. The team is responsible for managing the firm’s global IT infrastructure and applications. You will work for the Data & Analytics Platform Team within OFT-MCS that provides Operation & Engineering services for McKinsey’s business operations, as well as architect the solutions primarily around Business Intelligence(BI)/Analytics platforms in a heterogeneous and distributed environment spanning across different domains, data centers & clouds. Apart from technology skills, you will also have other skills that are essential, including: negotiation, critical thinking, problem solving, process orientation and business savvy.
Operational & Engineering IT services are provided out of Gurgaon/India, USA and San José/Costa Rica. Furthermore, there are Operational engineering teams located in Gurgaon/ India, Prague/Czech Republic and Düsseldorf/Germany. You will work out of the Atlanta office.
What You'll Do
You will provide 24/5 support for BI/Analytics Landscape – SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & AWS/Azure Cloud environments, work with stakeholders/vendors, and troubleshoot operational issues. You will evaluate critical BI/Analytics tiers security issues (content, internal controls, access levels, etc.) and make recommendations, such as infrastructure & application patching, upgrades to new versions or successor releases.
You will also work directly with customers globally, resolving BI/Analytics infrastructure-related escalated issues. You will recommend changes, engineer solutions and participate in their implementation. Additionally, you will review, develop, recommend, enforce, and adhere to BI/Analytics, SAP, AWS, Azure systems policies and standards, include policies and procedures on high availability, access management and scalability. You should be open to develop, adapt & deliver in the upcoming cloud database technologies as per the changing business requirements, as well as communicate and interact effectively with internal and external business contacts including, but not limited to, other members of the IT organization, other stakeholders (such as portfolio managers, product owners, technical architect), contractors, and vendors.
