Who You'll Work With

You will join one of our offices in the US, and will be working with McKinsey Implementation (MI) - a rapidly growing capability for our firm. 

As a member of MI, you’ll work in a collaborative culture, working closely with our client project teams solving their toughest problems, providing end-to-end support to ensure the clients are able to deliver and sustain the full benefits of McKinsey’s recommended change in their business. 

What You'll Do

You will work in small teams with colleagues and clients to build the strategies, capabilities, systems and processes needed to deliver bottom line results and ensure those results are sustained. 

You will help clients build these capabilities in delivery and execution, both during an active project and continuing after our consultants have shared their recommendations.

The Supply Chain team is focused on driving bottom line impact covering suppliers, production, physical logistics, and customers. We have deep functional expertise to help clients overcome typical supply chain challenges and integrate solutions across the organization, supplementing our client experience through targeted research programs focused on what really drives their supply chain performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of work experience in supply chain management, logistics, planning, warehouse experience is highly preferred
  • Experience in consumer, retail, e-tailer, automotive industry is an advantage
  • Extensive experience rolling out implementations on a large scale; project management experience
  • Interest in network design, sales and operations planning, inventory or physical flow management
  • Demonstrated aptitude for analytics
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment; ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Comfort with extensive travel (4-5 days a week)
