Who You'll Work With

You will be based in Beijing (preferred), Shanghai or Shenzhen and will be part of our China Academy. McKinsey has been deeply cultivating the Greater China market for about 30 years. China Academy is one of McKinsey’s most exciting new ventures devoted to developing online/offline capability building solutions for Chinese companies, with the vision to help our clients at scale, not only enable senior leadership, but also mid-level and/or frontline management, to improve capability and unlock organization potential.

The mission and impact aspiration of the team is to develop McKinsey-standard solution portfolios (i.e. corporate training courses) to as to support client’s sustainable capability building; lead end-to-end development of certain training courses and ensure a right delivery to meet client’s needs, by mobilizing or influencing team and client; enhance brand image and reputation among corporate training industry and dedicated to enlarge frequent user base of dedicated solution; support client service team to deliver proposal to clients on capability building programs and ensure the asset delivered impact as expected; and to develop Corporate Academy strategy and implementation plan that fits for client’s real context.

What You'll Do

You’ll work closely with the solution leader and instructional designer to produce storylines and content of China Academy’s online courses.

In this role, your responsibilities will include producing knowledge sharing pages, story lining case study cartoons, creating cases, interviewing senior advisors and shooting videos. 

You’ll work closely with external vendors to deliver end-to-end online Agile course products with support and guidance from leadership. You’ll visit potential and on-going clients to have deeper understanding in terms of the learning and development industry, identify and keep product features based on competitive analysis in terms of product content, learning journey design, visualization, simulation game and even basic product function.

You’ll support other colleagues (i.e. business development teams) to launch marketing and sales events or prepare online marketing materials and brochures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; a major in design is preferred
  • Outstanding record of academic achievement
  • 3+ years of working experience; consulting experiences with Agile, digital and analytical background is preferred
  • Strong ability to manage timelines and resources
  • Strong communication skills
  • Mandarin native speaker; fluent in English
