Who You'll Work With

You will be based in Amsterdam or Munich and will be part of our Experienced Professional Recruiting Hub where you will support the recruitment activity for McKinsey Digital & Analytics. Working alongside other recruiters and managers within McKinsey Digital and the whole organization, you will ensure a strong pipeline of highly skilled, qualified and motivated people are available to join the team as required.

What You'll Do

You will play an active part in the creation and implementation of our recruiting strategy for McKinsey Digital. 

As an intern, you will support the lead Digital recruiting team in all administrative facets of consultant recruiting, from resume processing to event organization. You will work closely with senior recruiters who specialize in technology and analytics profiles on the full recruitment cycle, which includes attraction, selection and offer. You will serve as a key contact for candidates throughout the assessment process. As part of this, you will help create and drive on- and offline recruiting events and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and HR. You will help find creative ways to identify passive talent utilizing internal and external databases, internet searches and other sourcing tools, and develop best-in-class sourcing skills

You will also support the team with management and analysis of relevant department data and systems as well as work on ad-hoc recruitment projects.

All recruiting team members should focus on attracting a diverse pool of candidates that represent the communities we live and work in, understand and manage their pipeline, and follow the firm’s recruiting processes that promote inclusion.

Qualifications

  • Active student on BSc or MSc university: STEM studies, psychology or HR-related disciplines preferred
  • Strong interest in the digital world, keen to follow industry trends and savvy enough to “talk shop” with technical people
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and function independently
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Demonstrated track record of maturity and professionalism
  • Attention to detail, methodical and organized
  • Fluent in English; fluency in German / French is preferred
  • Availability to work full-time for 6 to 12 months, with possibility of extending a permanent offer
