You will be based in the Beijing, Shanghai or Shenzhen office as part of our newly established group, Lanyue. What You'll Do

  • You'll enable our clients to become data-driven through modern data and cloud platforms, agile analytics and transformative data culture. 
  • You will have opportunities across different verticals within our data advisory such as data architecture, data analytics and data governance.
  • You will advise clients in developing and/or optimizing their conceptual and logical data systems. You will examine new data system requirements, deploy and configure data ingestion, storage, integration and analytical components and implement data and model migration.
  • You will coordinate with clients and data users to develop and implement various long-term data architecture objectives, document as-is and define design principles, standards, guidelines and roadmap toward target data architecture. 
  • You will work with clients to plan and design the data middle-platforms, big data platforms and data warehouses and develop advanced analytics and KPIs dashboards on the platforms. 
  • You will work with clients to understand how data and analytics can help their businesses realize value, working across industry sectors and develop compelling data stories through dashboards, analytical tools or PowerPoint to provide guidance to senior client leadership.
  • You will apply your deep expertise in data management and governance in end-to-end client engagements. 
  • You will establish and ensure adherence to an enterprise data governance framework for data policies, standards and practices. 
  • You will articulate business impact and benefits of advanced analytics solutions via business/scientific storytelling and advanced visualization techniques. 
  • You will understand and break down client problems, bringing an understanding of leading technology, analytics methods and tools and operating model approaches. 
  • You will provide thought leadership on how clients can achieve their data architecture strategies and objectives as well as drive reviews to ensure data products and services meet data architecture requirements. 
  • You will assist our clients in defining data governance frameworks, processes, policies, standards and controls. 
  • You will apply operational knowledge in the use of meta-data management, master-data management and data quality tools and platforms. 
  • You will also lead small teams to deliver fast-paced client projects as well as manage multiple projects across a range of industries focusing on providing our clients with data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or master’s degree in statistics, data, computer science or related field
  • 3+ years of work experience including large scale data governance projects, enterprise level data governance; understanding of industry-leading and benchmarking enterprise practices in data governance
  • Familiar with the big data and data architecture solution
  • Ability to drive large size data related projects with enough planning and implementation experience
  • Experience in domestic and foreign front-line consulting companies is preferred
  • Experience in industry based KPI dashboard and data analytics use cases; experience with applications including ERP, MES, HR, PLM, CRM, e-Commerce and OA is preferred
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent organization and coordination skills 
  • Good leadership and team skills
  • Strong ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Willing to travel
