Department description / job purpose / role:

The responsibility of the partnership with the Olympics & Paralympics lies within the Group Strategy, Marketing and Distribution Team. The partnership has the three objectives to a) drive employee engagement, b) build the brand, c) drive business. 

Scope, seize and variety of the Partnership Program require operational excellence, successive industrialization and standardization, and smart use of technology. 

Key Responsibilities:

The Operations & IT Manager will be responsible to streamline and optimize processes and to adapt and leverage technology to ensure the Program is excuted smoothly and in line with Allianz standrards across the Allianz Group worldwide: 

  • Administration of program management tools and continous improvement in close collaboration with Allianz Technology
  • Support the set-up and processes for the overall program as well as the Paris 24 Games Project Management 
  • Creation and maintenance of guidelines, manuals and OPM team user guides for the usage/ and application of IT tools and processes including: Microsoft Teams, Project & Roadmap, and other platforms introduced by Allianz Technology
  • Engineering and documentation of business requirements and selection and implementation of required IT solutions/tools 
  • Acting as central interface between Program workstreams and internal providers (Allianz Technology, Allianz Services)
  • Lead around the topic of Risk Management incl. Cyber, Compliance, Data Privacy
  • Support the IT platform for the management of all internal tickets to the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024
  • Steering and management of internal providers delivering services for the Program
  • Contribution to design and build of the Program's measurement and reporting framework, with focus on IT Architecture
  • Development and adjustment of program strucutres and processes (organizational setup, sourcing approache, processes/automation, tools)
  • Overall coordination of the global Olympic and Paralympic Team including immediate team, board tasks, steering committees, OEs, LOBs, involved departments

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or related areas
  • Expertise in Project Management and the organisation of people, teams and organizations
  • Strong sense of ownership, organization, attention to detail and high level accuracy
  • Ideally either experience in the Allianz world or around the Olympic and Paralympic Movements or sponsorship of other major international sports events
  • Analytical skills
  • Organisational talent with quick perception and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent english skills & french as advantage
  • Experience in working with Salesforce, Adobe Marketing Cliud, MS Office365

Experience & Key skills:

  • >3 years working experience in an international environment, ideally at the interface between Business and IT 
  • Conceptual strengths and strong executional capabilites
  • Proven project management expertise
  • Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience in Business Process Design and Management
  • Solid knowledge about established and trending collaboration, communication and project management tools
  • Collaborative and team oriented working style, 'can-do' mentality
  • Hands-on attitude
  • Expertise in coordinating complex, cross-country projects and events of all kinds and sizes 
  • Team Player 

Of use but not mandatory: 

  • Knowledge about local and global Allianz set up, operations and communication processes
  • Familiarity with Allianz Group IT solutions and systems
  • Experience of AI & robotics
