Job Summary:

The Banquet Server sets up the Banquet Room and serves food and/or beverages in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner according to hotel standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Examine trays to ensure that they contain the required items.
  • Place food servings on plates or trays according to orders.
  • Monitor food distribution and ensure meals are delivered correctly, following guidelines for special diets.
  • Load trays with accessories like utensils and napkins.
  • Clean and sterilize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with excellent customer service skills.

Education & Experience:

  • Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and sitting.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
