The COO & CPO Function stands for Passion for People and Processes. It is shaping the place to be for IT for our people and leveraging the capabilities of the COO area to enable our organization on the mission to be the Partner of Choice for IT.

Whereas under the CIO aspect, we fully focus on providing a global, standardized IT set-up to our employees in all branches, at Global Operations we ensure that the very core of our business, our IT Services, central and local operating entities ones, are running smoothly. 

We do that by

• hosting the central platform and
• providing a common methodology on service design

to keep our IT Services fully operational and monitor them through a proper process management.

IT Sustainability ensures, that all IT services are designed sustainable leaving a footprint as little as possible, IT is enabling and accelerating the ambitious sustainability targets of Allianz with increasing the handprint through IT and supporting inclusion, gender equality and diversity through digitalisation, leaving a big heartprint for the society.

Key Responsibilities

• Organizational support for initiatives, programs and projects to reduce the environmental impact of our IT portfolio
• Participation in the planning and implementation of social projects
• Organization, preparation and taking minutes of meetings
• Preparation of presentations and execution of communicative and administrative tasks
• Taking responsibility for own small projects
• Creation of own content and communication materials in CD
• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Key Requirements

• You study business administration, communication sciences, media management or a comparable course of study
• Ideally, you bring first practical experience in the field of communication, organization and/or sustainability from internships and/or working student activities.
• You are an organizational talent and bring along communication skills, reliability and creativity
• You can quickly familiarize yourself with complex topics and are interested in IT topics and digital trends
• You are familiar with social media, have a talent for writing and ideally have basic knowledge of media editing programs
• Sustainability is close to your heart and you want to bring real added value to the environment and society together with us
• You are fluent in German and English
• You can start immediately and are interested in a working student position for 6 months- part time (16-20 h/week)

• Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year.
