Mercedes-Benz R&D China is headquartered in Beijing, and is opening a R&D branch office in Shanghai, with key areas of Autonomous Driving(AD), Adavanced Driving Asistant System (ADAS), Cloud Platform for ADAS/AD, Advanced Interaction Design, Telematics, Big Data Analytics, and Open Innovation. Our AD Backend & Crowd Data Analytics team is looking for a highly motivated and skilled security software engineer. At this role you will have the unique opportunity to work with our software development teams, provide security solution to safeguard company digital information and protect Mercedes-Benz automotive cloud platforms. Working scope: • Evaluate security needs and establish standards accordingly for cloud platforms • Examine and test data platforms for vulnerabilities at team level • Provide security analysis, integrate security measures while developing AD Backend functions. • Continuously enhance the product security capabilities by collecting and analysis security incident, identifying gaps, and refining the security solution. • Stay updated on the latest security technologies, methodologies, news, and regulations. • Effectively collaborate with other engineers, QA testers and function owners to support and drive the AD backend development

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Software/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - Good understanding of operating systems and computer architecture fundamentals. - Programming experience in several of interpreted, compiled or web languages and at least master at one. - Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills - Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with international stakeholders - 3+ years of security engineering and software system development experience. - Hands on experience with penetration testing methodologies and tools. - Solid knowledge of vulnerability assessment and remediation best practices. - Strong knowledge and understanding of security engineering, application security in web, and cloud, system and network security, cryptography, authentication and security protocols. - In-depth experience and knowledge of requirements capture, cyber security threat modeling and systematic discovery of threats, as a part of Secure Development Lifecycle
