The Python Full Stack Engineer is part of the Digital Solutions team and focuses on further driving the digitalization of our company, focusing on the further development, integration and automation of some of our AGB IT assets - such as our Data Warehouse (DWH) - into an end-to-end ecosystem, fully automated.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate across the organization to understand and translate the business needs into requirements
• Involved in further development of AGB’s Data Warehouse, driving its integration with other systems and development of functionalities for importing, cleaning, storing and exporting data
• Further enhance our client reporting infrastructure for our multinational clients
• Maintain the DevOps infrastructure and ensure security standards
• In a team with expert colleagues, identify and implement means which support correctness and completeness of data as well as data synchronization between DWH and other systems

Requirements/Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 3-4 years relevant job experience as software developer

Must have core skills:

• Extensive development experience in Python 
• Good understanding of backend and frontend development
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Git
• Fluent in verbal and written English; German is a plus; other languages are an advantage
• Agile mindset with passion for technologies and interest to explore new IT tools
• Experience in understanding business needs and translating them into IT requirements
• Comfortable with offering alternatives beyond what users initially scope for where advisable
• Good communication skills 
• Good understanding and promoter of data quality, enabling correctness and completeness of data
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a creative and proactive mindset towards problem solving and delivering results
• Team player with a positive frame of mind who enjoys collaboration, is flexible and cares for others

Nice to have / Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Django, Flask, FastAPI
• Knowledge of Angular 8+
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of Unit and Integration test.
• Knowledge of one of the cloud technologies: Azure, AWS, GCP
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, SSH
• Knowledge of Salesforce
• Knowledge of Information Security, secure software development
• Knowledge of insurance, financial sector and risk management are a plus
