About the Role – International Tax Senior Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, tax, or other closely related field
- CPA or JD licensure
- 7+ years of progressive international tax experience in public accounting/law, or a combination of corporate and public accounting/law experience
- Technical understanding of international and domestic tax laws and regulations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex tax law in a business setting
- Proven ability to lead multiple complex milestone driven projects in a fast paced, team environment
Responsibilities
- Advise multinational clients on a full spectrum of international tax services: planning, research, compliance, provisions in diverse industries
- Assist with various foreign calculations and review of U.S. international tax computations and compliance, including PTEP, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Subpart F, and FTC, APB23 Indefinite Reinvestment Assertion, §482 transfer pricing principles, cross-border planning and intangible planning including §367(d).
- Assist multinational clients in preparing the tax provision for their financial statements as well as reviewing the financial reporting of tax implications of their global operations and transactions
- Review research, memoranda, and supporting documentation prepared by staff for tax technical and income tax accounting issues
- Research, analyze and model impacts of tax initiatives, developments, and legal structure planning
- Collaborate on merger and acquisition tax structure for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and IPO’s as well as drafting the associated tax memo and modeling the tax impacts of the transaction
- Possess a deep understanding of international tax technical topics, which includes an understanding of the tax impacts of the TJCA and best practices.
- Simultaneously manage multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients
- Mentor, train, and motivate staff level team members
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships
- Assist with new business development
