The department of Mathematics at the NYU Courant Institute is calling for applications for a faculty position in mathematics, to begin in September 2023, at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor level. Applications in all areas of mathematics including applied mathematics, scientific computing and mathematics of machine learning are welcome.
The department of Mathematics at Courant offers an outstanding scholarly environment for mathematical and interdisciplinary research with a long and world-renowned tradition in both pure and applied mathematics and in bridging between them. Mathematics at Courant benefits from the proximity of the Computer Science department within the Courant Institute as well as the cross-disciplinary Center of Data Science at NYU.
