Summary:
The Staff Assistant, Photography is a member of the Creative department and reports directly to the Manager of Photography. This role contributes to a variety of business initiatives by photographing Miami Dolphins home and away games, entertainment at Hard Rock Stadium, community involvement, and out-of-market events. Post-production responsibilities include culling, adding metadata, and treating digital assets. This role is part-time and based out of Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Capture impactful, brand aligned, images across multiple properties including but not limited to:
- Miami Dolphins home and away games, in-season and off-season practices, team media day, community functions, corporate initiatives, and internal/external events
- Miami Open matches, practices, player media day, community functions, corporate initiatives, and internal/external events
- Hard Rock Stadium concerts, sporting events, corporate events, festivals, and community events
- Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix events including race week, community functions, corporate initiatives, and internal/external events
- Assist with applying proper metadata on photography from games, events, and general business assets
- Collaborate with Marketing and other business units to execute business goals and brand initiatives
Qualifications:
- Experience in sports photography (please include link to portfolio on application)
- Excellent communication skills with peers and experience working with athletes in a professional setting
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Capacity to lift 35lbs overhead, work in inclement weather and varying temperatures
