Job Title: Accounting Close – Restructuring and Restatement Specialist 

Location: Manila

Corporate Title: Senior Analyst

The Accounting Close team ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. You will be the point of contact of the business in relation to the Restructuring & Restatement process. The role involves in bridging the process and governance to the business, you must ensure that the business is able to understand and adhere to the set Restructuring and Restatement requirements. Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this function.

Your key responsibilities

  • Coordinates closely with Business Area global stakeholders on Restructuring and Restatement related activities and deliverables
  • Performs quality assurance tasks and ensures strict compliance to Restructuring and Restatement Governance and Policies
  • Confirms with business the changes and makes sure they are aligned with the expectation
  • Handles the review, consolidation and implementation of Financial Restatements into the system

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses
  • Experience in quality assurance for accounting, finance or audit gained from the Financial Services, Audit or BPO industry
  • Analytical and problem solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A team player who is collaborative yet able to work independently
