Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking an Application Infrastructure Technical Support Analyst with IBM Infosphere Data Governance platform experience. The analyst will maintain, support, patch and implement IGC platform functionalities. BBH’s Data Governance platform is a key component in the Data Platform eco system integrating with BBH in-house developed data virtualization applications.
Qualifications for your role must include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 3 – 5 years hands on IGC platform experience
- 3 – 5 yrs of hands-on experience in IT supporting and maintaining Linux operating systems
- Linux shell script programming
- WebSphere clustered deployments
- LDAP security authentication
- Infrastructure backup and recovery
- Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL programming
- Experience working with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with SDLC best practices
- Working knowledge of architectural principles, infrastructure engineering and integration
- Communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven, work independently and across teams

Key Responsibilities Include:
- IGC application maintenance and support
- Applying IGC service packs
- Upgrading IGC software to new release(s)
- Performance tuning, cluster resource optimization
- Design, document IGC infrastructure maintenance and support run book
- Creating, submitting, and tracking vendor support tickets
- Work with distributed teams (DBA, Operating Systems, Application Production Support)
